I have a Windows 98 PC, and I was running Outlook 2000 in
Corporate or Workgroup mode, and wanted to switch to
Internet Only mode... I changed this option within
Outlook, but when the program closed, I now find that I
cannot start Outlook up again.
Everytime I try, even with the Office 2000 disc in my
drive, I receive the same message: "Cannot start
Microsoft Outlook. A required component is missing:
OMI9.DLL. Please install Microsoft Outlook again."
I tried finding a solutoin to this problem in Microsoft's
Support Database, and found a prescribed solution of
changing a value in my registry (in
Outlook's 'Mailsupport' key)... however, I found that this
solution did not have any effect, and the problem remains
as I cannot start Outlook, or even reinstall it.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
