Outlook installs elements each time it is called

I have a Vista Home Premium system that has Outllok 2007. When I call Office
it immediately installs 'something' before becoming usable. How can I avoid
this?

If you are seeing the message "please wait while outlook/office
configures..." - are you using more than one version of Office on this
computer? If yes, then that message will appear every time you have opened
the other version of an Office program and then try to open the oppsite
version.
