Outlook is adding the user's name after each change

This is a new problem as of today. My boss is trying to forward a message
but needed to correct a spelling error and every time he presses the space
bar his name in brackets appears on the screen. It also appears when he
forwards a message and doesn't make any corrections. Is there anyway to stop
this?? Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

outlook does that when you try to change stuff in a forwarded message. To
turn it off- tools/opeions/preferences/email options/ mark my comments with,
uncheck
