I have a user that is setup with Outlook 2003 to Exchange server 2003. When
starting outlook the Exchange server pops up password prompt and the user
correctly logs in. The toolbar says "Connected" and folders are syncing
properly based on checking server/cached folder info.
Performing a a send/receive can take a very long time, i.e. order of
minutes, to complete. However this is not consistant. Sometimes the
send/receive happens correctly.
When trying to use the out of office assistant an error message pops up
saying that she is currently working offline and needs to connect to the
exchange server. Using OWA an out of office message can be successfully set.
It seems that Outlook thinks that it is "partially online." Any ideas?
