Hello All,
I am running Windows XP, SP2 and Office 2003. I recently had a hard drive
crash so I have had to re-install many of my programs including the entire
Office 2003 Suite. Here is what is happening. Outlook sends and receives
emails without any problems; however, when I click on an URL in an email, IE
takes a minute or two to open and then displays the page. I sent myself a
test email with www.cnn.com and www. yahoo.com to test how long it takes to
open each page.
Below is what I have tried based on the research in this forum:
I am running IE 7.0 which I just downloaded.
1. Reset IE Web Settings to Default.
2. Read and tried the fix here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310049
(I have not tried importing the Registry Value yet)
Any other suggestions? My last idea is to remove Office 2003 and also run
the Office Removal tool.
