Outlook "jams" on receive

M

Monsieur Paul

Have been experiencing an annoying problem for months. Every now and then
Outlook "jams" on a certain e-mail when downloading and goes into a loop by
downloading e-mails before it in the mailbox multiple times. The only
solution seems to be using mail2web.com to find the offending e-mail and
deleting it. I have investigated the size of the e-mail but this does not
seem to have an effect. Equally I am running Mozilla Thunderbird in parallel
and all mail downloads OK to that - i.e. the problem does not occur in
Thunderbird. The only unique thing about these "blocking" e-mails is that
they seem to come from either China or India. Could this be something to do
with character sets ? Any help gratefully received.
