When I try to open a jpg attachment I get message, can't
file file. I can save the file to another folder but I
can't open it from Outlook. Is there something I have to
set up to let Outlook where to go to open jpg attachments?

Thanks.

1. In Windows Explorer, click Tools, Folder Options.
2. Click the File Types tab.
3. If you don't see jpg in the registered file types,
click New.
4. Type jpg in the extension box. Also, add jpeg or gif
if not included in list. Click OK.
5. Scroll down to the jpg extension and highlight.
6. Under the Details for, check what program is set to
open jpg. If Internet Explorer or some Image Editor is
not set to open jpgs. Click the Change button.
7. Browse your PC for the Internet Explorer application.
Click OK.

This will allow you to see jpgs.

Thanks for your help. I have Adobe Photoshop 6.0 on my
computer but when the associated programs dialogue box
comes up to associate the jpg files with, Adobe is not on
the list. I tried the function to add Adobe to the list
and when to Adobe Photoshop (the execute file) and
clicked on open but it was not added to the list. How do
I get jpegs to open with Adobe Photoshop Files. It works
fine in Outlook express but not in Outlook.

Thanks.
