Just curious - what is the logic that the Otlook Junk Mail filter uses to
determine what constitutes junk mail? I recently installed Exchange/Outlook
in my environment, and mail that is forwarded from our old mail system
consistently gets tagged as junk; mail from new external senders (i.e.,
vendors) gets tagged as junk - our spam filter is actually catching the
majority of real spam and junk, so Outlook should have very little in the way
of Junk mail. How does it determine junk mail? Does it have to "learn" what
is junk or is there something wrong with my settings somewhere? I think this
is really going to irritate users if they have to go in and teach Outlook
what is a junk mail message or add people continually to a Safe Sender list.
Any ideas?
