Outlook: keep Screensaver on when checking for new messages.

When outlook 2003 checks for new messages, it stops the screensaver and turns
on the monitor. Would be nice to keep the screensaver from stopping and to
keep the monitor in sleep mode.

I cannot repro that here so it sounds like a configuration issue to me.

Could you be a bit more specific?
Does it happen for every send/receive or only when a new message is being
received?
Is it the screensaver or that it comes back from or the sleep mode of your
monitor?
Do you have any processes that tie into your send/receive progress like a
virus scanner or any other security suite/synch software? Disable this
integration and try again.
