Outlook keeps prompting for account password

I have tried new Outlook profile as well as the fixes in MS KnowledgeBase
including the Protected Storage System fix, MS KB290684. I am running
straight XP Pro SP2, and Office Pro 2003. Also running Symantec Endpoint
Protection. Have disabled the Add-on already, and there are no COM-Addins.
I have no idea where to go next. Thanks

Disabling a Symantec/Norton email scanner seldom (if ever) fixes the
problem, you need to uninstall it, run Symantec's uninstaller cleanup
utility, as the uninstaller leaves a large amount of troublesome debris on
your system, then do a custom re-install and do NOT install any email
scanning features/components/modules.
