Outlook Live as a real hosted exchange???

Hello. I am new to these forums, and new to Outlook Live. I am trying t
figure out if I can use Microsoft Outlook Live for our small business a
a hosted exchange. And, if not, will this product be available fo
non-edu customers too?

I tried to set it up for myself, but it looks like I will need to us
"Hotmail" in association with this. Is that the case? Because I hav
enough business email addresses that I don't need (or want) any mor
email addresses associated with me.

I am simply trying to find a way to create a "virtual office" for a
cheap as possible. We just started using Microsoft Office Workspace
Live for our files and meeting notes, etc.

It seems that our email problem is the last to go...

Thanks,

dgaleta

Office live can host your email using your domains but you will need a Live
ID to log in. This is similar to workspaces. It won't be exchange though.

Outlook Live is exchange but its edu only and I'm not sure if that will
change.
Windows Live is for msn/hotmail/live addresses only. Its not exchange.

IMHO, You'd be better off getting a real hosted service, although it won't
be cheap - about $10/mo per mailbox.
