I have Microsoft Office XP Professional, installed on my laptop running
Windows XP Professional. Everytime I try to open Outlook lately, it takes
like 2-3 minutes for the program to load the main "Outlook Today" screen.
Then, everytime I try to click something to open or navigate through Outlook,
the computer processes the request VERY slowly, sometimes making me wait up
to 5 minutes before opening an e-mail, switching to a different screen or
area within the program, etc. Sometimes it takes so long that I think the
computer has frozen, but it has not if I wait long enough, usually 5 minutes,
maybe more. I have run "detect and Repair", but this did not help. Someone
requested that I turn off e-mail scanning on my Norton Antivirus 2006
program, however that did not help, either. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Thanks!!!
