Outlook loads slowly.

Outlook started to load slowly. When loaded the responce time might be big.
For example, after clicking on Reply it might take several seconds to pop up
relevant window. Other programs run moreor less OK
What shall I do other then reinstalling Office? Could it be a virus?

Type of connection, ie pop or?
Initially run a Detect/Repair of Office/Outllook or Office Diagnostics
depending on version
A reinstall is unlikely to help/do anything.
