I am using Win 2K, Office 2K. When I click on outlook, it
opens up and immediately freezes. It appears to be an
email that has the "Mailer-Deamon". I have uninstalled
outlook, reinstalled (saving the pst files in the
process), and even deleted all entries in the registry
concerning outlook. Even with the new installation and
the pst files nowhere on the pc, I can still see the old
emails, including the "mailer-deamon". I even tried
installing outlook express, and importing the emails, and
it will start to import them and then lock up halfway thru
the process. I also installed outlook 97 and still could
not get outlook to work right. Is there a way to get rid
of the mailer deamon, or to install outlook 2k so that I
can set it up and not see the old emails?
