I run Office 2000 Professional on XP home eddition. I have downloaded all
the appropriate updates for the system. I upgraded to Outlook 2003. Ever
since I did, when I go to send an email, when I click on the "To" button to
access the contacts list, outlook locks up and I have to use "ALT, CTL, DLT"
to shut down Outlook. If I go into the contacts list and send an email from
there, select a contact, I have no problem. I have downloaded the .pst file
to excell to look for obvious problems in the file and saw nothing. I have
used the "fix" utility. I have removed and reinstalled Outlook 2003. I
originally imported the .pst file from 2000. Might I have to delete it (empty
it) and start over. That is an ugly solution. I am open to any suggestions.
