Outlook looses Exchange-Connection

Hello,

i have the Problem that my Outlook looses the connection to the Exchange
several times a day. I have to login again in that case. The messaging
about new emails does not work after loggin in.

Do you have an idea why it is loosing the connection? My coworkers who
use the same exchange server do not have that kind of problem.

No, there are no Add-ins installed. I had to make an entry to the
hosts-file so the outlook finds the exchange server.
I forgot to say that the connection outlook-exchange is vpn. I would say
nothing if this problem appeard from the first day I'm using the vpn.
But I worked over half a year without any problem. The vpn works without
any problem. Only outlook does not work well. The server event logs are
clean, no problem. Other people in our company work with that vpn, too,
and do not have that problems.

Anyone working remotely and/or using VPN should likely update their hosts
file to reflect the correct connections. However if everyone else is using
VPN successfully and only you are being challenged in this way, my first
question would be to ask what's changed on the PC/notebook? Any updates,
software installs, etc.? Even the most innocent thing like downloading and
installing a screen saver or game has the potential to cause conflict with
your business-related configuration, if it hasn't been tested and proven to
not create unforeseen issues.
