If you feel this should be posted to a Lotus Notes n/g please say, but
as this posting relates to Outlook functionality I think it is better
here.
I am fortunate in that my employer is decommissioning its Lotus Notes
mail and implementing an Exchange server over a reasonable period of
time. Currently both of my mail accounts are live, and I am now
connecting to the exchange server and the Domino server through
Outlook. My employer does not support a migration path, as most users
don't have a need for retained information.
I have set up a Lotus Notes message store in Outlook (2000) so that I
can access my live Notes inbox, and I am now copying the files from
the inbox to a .pst file so that I can continue to access them when
Notes is no longer available.
What I can't seem to access is my (substantial) Lotus Notes archive.
I have tried changing the settings in the Lotus Notes message store to
point to the local archive file rather than the .nsf file on the
Domino server, but that appears to have no effect. I cannot set up
more than on Lotus Notes message store within Outlook as Outlook won't
let me have multiple instances of this.
Short of copying my archive back into the "live" Lotus Notes, and then
moving the docs from there into my .pst file, is there any way that
Outlook can be configured to view my archive file rather than the live
inbox?
TIA
