I love Outlook and need help with a couple of things.
I've synched Outlook with my hotmail account, which works
fine, except:
-Mail messages don't automatically appear when they
arrive, not even if I do an automatic send/receive every
x minutes. I have to do it manually or do a "refresh" by
opening another item, then go back to inbox.
-In tandem with this, I do not get a mail notification
sound or message or cursor change, although I have
selected all 3 of these options. My speakers and all my
wave files do in fact work, just not with mail
notification in Outlook.
The other thing is that I don't know how to use the
Personal Folder in Outlook to get my messages. When I
added my Hotmail account, it created folders (Inbox,
Sent, Junk, etc.) for Hotmail. But now I have 2 Inboxes
(Hotmail and the Outlook default "Personal Folder". How
can I get hotmail (or my Yahoo business account) messages
to come to the default inbox.
I've spent hours now trying to figure it out with all the
Options and Customize tools, but to no avail. I would
greatly appreciate your help.
