outlook mail cannot open or access contacts

I had to reinstall W XP and Office and used the Dell OEM
disks to do so, saving my .pst files on another drive. I
put them back in the correct place and I can open and use
Outlook with all my contacts and calendar info, and I get
e-mail just fine after re-entering the acocunt info, BUT
I cannot get auto-addressing when sending e-mails. I get
a message that says Mail cannot open Contacts. Any
ideas? This is a major impediment.
