Outlook Mailbox

When you drag and drop an email item from inbox or any other folder to the
Main mailbox - Mailbox - Name of Mailbox, where does it goes to? Does it get
deleted permanently or goes to archive?

When you drag and drop an email item from inbox or any other folder to the
Main mailbox - Mailbox - Name of Mailbox, where does it goes to? Does it get

The root folder is configured to display a web page for Outlook Today.
It is NOT to be used for e-mail storage. If you improperly drag
something to the root folder, you will have to change the view on that
folder to see the e-mail items (instead of the web page selected for
that folder).

Right-click on the root folder (usually titled "Outlook Today"),
Properties, Home Page tab, and deselect the option to "Show home page by
default for this folder". That's how it is done for Outlook 2002. You
did not mention WHICH version of Outlook that you use.
