Outlook Maildownload ...

Hi,
well I´ve the a tricky problem cocnerning mail download from a server! I did
the following: Installed Outlook 2007 on a Win XP system. Everything worked
great. After that I installed Vista Business on the same machine (same
settings) and tried to sync my mails from a pop3 account. The thing now is,
that the download speed is lower than 9 kb!! It took me 60 minutes to get a
mail with 1MB!!

Downloading files from the net still works... without problems... (10 MB in
1 minute)

Perhaps anyone out there has a solution!

As I have posted on this site, I have the exact problem, but with multiple
machines. Office Outlook would run well on XP (on the same machines), but
when we migrated everything over, mail off a POP3 server would not retrieve
mailproperly. It took 3 hrs (suggested wait time) to do 384 kb!!!! What the
hell is going on?

No help from Microsoft here.

Might have to find something else to replace MS on the desktop if they keep
this up.

I would try a new Profile with a new data file

Hi,
tried all these things but without success. Pop3 is working at minimum speed.

Hope MS will be able to deliver a update for this bug as fast as possible...
