Outlook Malfunctioning (New Emails Not Coming Into InBox)

Using OL-2003 on SB-03 Server With External Pop-3 Server (No Exchange!)
(Has been working fine for many years!)

Had just updated our Outlook 2003 and find now that any new emails on an
external host / server are not coming into their respective local inboxes
anymore? When I click send/receive for emails, there is a message in the
download mail dialogue box as it acts normal, but goes by within
milli-seconds instead of hanging for a few seconds like when normal mail
comes in? As a result cannot read it!

But the mail is not coming in anywhere & still stays on my pop-3 host!

Check "Test Account Settings" for all Email Settings in Email Accounts
Properties Dialogue Box and they all passes correctly.

Please any thoughts / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check your delivery location (File->Data File Management) to ensure it is not using a .pst file that you are not displaying in the folder list.

Yes thank you Milly,

As I have checked and it was the proper .PST file associated with my
profile. Just to inform you OL was working fine for all other Clients
Logging into the server with RD. My login was the only one that was not (OL)
working after this last update.

In any event, I had panicked & unistalled OL completely & then
reinstalled... It is working now!

Curious if you had any other thoughts though?

Thank You For Responding So Quickly & My Best! Jim B
