Outlook meeting requests

Recently upgraded to Outlook 2002. When sending meeting
requests to others with Outlook 2000, message becomes
garbled. Our IT director indicates it is a version
conflict. Is there a patch available that will link the
two versions so I can send meeting requests regardless of
Outlook version?

I am experiencing this same issue. Have downloaded all
the upgrades for both Outlook 2002 and 2000 on both PC's
and when I send an appointment from 2002 to 2000, all the
information is received on the Outlook 2000 PC as a
regular email with the internet header information in the
body of the email and not as an appointment with the
people icon. If I send an appt. from Outlook 2000 to
Outlook 2002, no issues, everything works and when I
respond from 2002 back to 2000, everything works as well.
So it appears if the appt. originates from a 2002
version, then the problem exists as described.

If you get an answer or vice versa, please lets help each
other.

Thanks
