some outlook email messages hang in the outbox folder. Pushing the
send/receive button indicates the message is sent in the task bar activity
but the message is retained in the outbox folder and is not sent. Those
email address's created with contact files are released to the sent folder
but those created by a dsn server are not released. The only difference I can
see is that Contact addresss
do not put ' ' around the name such as 'Joe Smith' and dsn use <> to
delineate the address such as <[email protected]>. Contact addresss are created
such as([email protected]).This problem surfaced with the last two weeks, after
a MS office 2002/xp security update. Do not know if the updates have
anything to do with the problem. Any suggestions as to how to solve the
problem? I am a novice at debugging.
