Outlook - missing emails

I have a cable modem that has a "Medic" program when
accessed and asked to repair settings on Outlook Express
deletes messages and folders from Outlook. Any idea
where these might be stored on my computer. There
technical support says it doesn't recognize Outlook but
upon testing it did it again. HELP

Repairing settings on Outlook Express will have no effect on Outlook files
at all, since Outlook and Outlook Express are two entirely different
programs.
