Outlook Mobile Service broke Outlook 2007

I installed the Outlook Mobile Service and now my Outlook 2007 application
will not launch. (Stuck in Start in safe mode send error report, restart
Outlook loop.)

I uninstalled Office 2007 Enterprise and then re-installed and the error
re-occured.

Specifically, I'm getting the following error:
"An exception occurred while trying to run
"C:WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
"CROGRA~1\MICROS~2\Office12\MLCFG32.CPL",@0"

I cannot open "Mail" in control panel to remove the service.

Any ideas?
