I have an Access application which programmatically generates emails to
distribution lists - one email per email address - via a Do Loop process. I
have a couple dozen clients (and about 100 or more PCs) where this process
works without error.
One client, though, has two PCs where the process works and two PCs where it
doesn't. The PC techie swears up and down that all applications have full
installations, the users have full permissions, etc etc. The error message
on the two PCs is "Automation Error - the specified module could not be
found."
On those two PCs, you can open Outlook and send an email successfully. From
the access application however, the process errors.
The Access newsgroup suggested a re-install of Outlook and Access. This has
been done but did not resolve the issue. Their next suggestion was a post in
this newsgroup.
Any ideas?
