Outlook -"Move to Folder" tool button.

I was getting a list of my most recent folders when clicking this tool bar
button from an open email. It seems to have frozen up about 2 weeks ago and
won't "update" any longer (only shows the recent folders as they were from
about 2 weeks back when the function appears to have frozen). I'm Using
Office 2003 and have done a reinstall to fix errors..then removed the tool
button and returned it to my Toolbar..now NO recent folders are shown, just a
list of ALL my folders. How do I restore this capability...it is an extemely
handy tool for my purposes and now creates a lot more work for me without it.

Use the Favorites instead to have access to your most often used folders. I
do not understand any of what you posted.

Thanks for the response, this question is specifically about my email folders
in Outlook and how to bring up a list of most recently used email folders
when working in Outlook. Sorry if I was unclear.

When you reinstalled, you set Outlook back to the default. The MRU list you
are referring to is built dynamically when you actually use the Move To
button to move items to folders.

Milly, thanks for the resopnse. That's exactly what I'd thought would
happen, and hoped for, but even after using it, no recent folders list is
being develped. Any other thoughts?

Did you happen to use TweakUI to remove the recent documents from your start
menu? If yes, you need to turn it off as it prevents MRUs in all programs.
