Outlook Name Auto Complete not holding names?

A user wants to use the name auto complete feature. Recently he had to have
a new email profile created and of course with a little issue. Tha name auto
complete works but once he shuts down, the next time the names do not remain
cached. I have never run into this one before, does anyone know what might
be causing this? We did also try deleting the NK2 cache file and letting it
recreate to no avail. Thanks!!

The nk2-file is tied to your mail profile. Renaming it will rarely reinstate
it when broken. The only way to recover is to recreate the mail profile;

Is the Outlook profile still configured to use the autocomplete cache?
Check Tools -> Options -> E-mail Options -> Advanced E-mail Options and make
sure the "Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields" box is
checked.
