Outlook never quits

Hi,

Whenever I exit Outlook 2007, it never quits. The UI is gone but the process
keeps running. I have to use task manager to stop the process in order to be
able to start it again. Any idea how to solve this? It seems that some other
application is keeping the Outlook process alive. Thanks in advance for your
help.

I am not totally sure about this, one of the possibilities is that might be
that there is an option that keeps alive even after it quits, like run in
background, or some applciation like MSN messger might keep it alive? Do you
have MSN Messenger running?

Hi Anand,

Messenger is running and so is Skype. But if I quit these applications and
then quit Outlook, Outlook still remains in the process list.
