Outlook Nickname wrong with name change

I have several women that got married....when they change their last name I
have issues

Say Terry Gaffer is now married and her name is Terry Grant

I have auto suggest on....when I type in terry it comes up for a suggestion
"Terry Grant <Gaffer>"

When I type in Gaffer....it comes up with terry grant too.

I have looked at my settings for active directory users an not seeing where
GAFFER is listed anymore. Though she gets the email, this is also causing a
problem for our programmers when they want to add a user from active
directory. This married user cannot logon to the portals...because it
"thinks" their login name is gaffer instead of grant.

They can login to the domain as grant...they get into their outlook as
grant.....what and where do I need to go to get GAFFER out of there??????

In other programs I am also seeing it as DOMAIN\Gaffer

Where the heck is GAFFER located????????? I have checked properties of the
user...unless it is deep in there somewhere or "hidden" from plain
view.....HELP!

Thanks for the help!

Joe is right - the problem is in your Active Directory. You need to go in
there and find the property that still has their old name.
