I run Outlook 2007 SP1, and I have suddenly had a very annoying problem.
When I receive en e-mail, the sound that has played has switched from the
usual "windows XP notify" noise to the obnoxious error beep from the PC
speaker. In the sounds menu on the control panel, it is still set to play the
usual noise, and the only solution I can find is to turn off the sound
notificaiton altogether in Outlook. I really want it to play a sound when I
receive an e-mail still, but I cannot get it to go back to the regular
notification sound, even though that's what it is set to.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
