Outlook not getting spelling mistakes

I am using outlook XP Home for email with word as editor and it is not
picking up the typos yet messgaes that spell check is complete. I have
checked spelling options, set up word as editor and it still hasn't helped.
Help Me Please.. Glenn

Can you give an example of a typo that it allows?

There is no Outlook Home XP. What are you using? Outlook 2003, XP, 2000 or
Outlook Express 6? You must have an office program installed to use Spell
Check with any of these or you have to use a third party utility
