outlook not opening/freezing

Has anyone ever had the problem of outlook freezing after
outlook intro page opens. My computer displays the
outlook symbol and product number, but then freezes my
computer, and i have to press ALT/CONT/DEL to close it. I
have rebooted many times, no luck. Help.
