Outlook not responding

when outlook opens it updates fine and runs smooth the minute i click on a
mail it hangs i can not close, foward or reply to the mail the only it does
close is if i go to my task bar and right click on the windows and select
close.

Same problem here. Yesterday the program hung nearing the end of send/
receive function. It took about 5 end tasks and restarts before it finally
ran again.

Today I can access all functions except any of the mail items ( inbox, sent,
etc). When I click on anything mail it hangs (hourglass) and then shows 'not
responding'.

Help!!
