Hello everyone,
I noticed a lot of posts here about Outlook not saving passwords when
running Vista, however I am having the same problem when running XP. The
problem is occurring in Outlook 2003 on a laptop running XP Pro with Office
2003 Pro.
Everything had been fine until another user was added to the laptop. When
their Outlook was being configured to access our POP email server. However,
at this point Outlook would not save the password. I tried the fix mentioned
here, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290684&sd=RMVP,
but it did not work.
This happened briefly on a PC here in the office but it went away after a
system restart. Did I miss something in the other posts? I am at a complete
loss right now because with the exception of the one PC temporarily having
the same problem all other PCs and laptops are functioning properly with the
same software configurations. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers
