Outlook not seeing Exchange

I have a user who is able to log in and see everything on the network just fine. We use MSN Messenger and Outlook which typically work seemlessly. However, on this machine, neither work. Messenger asks for a password saying that the e-mail address and username don't match with the login info (I'll enter the pass and it logs in just fine) and Outlook won't see Exchange at all unless I edit the e-mail settings and set Logon network security to 'none'. Now it prompts for a password every time, and it downloads the mail from the Exchange server to a local file

I have logged to other machines as this user and everything works fine. I have also logged into his machine as other users and do not have any problems. It seems there is some strangeness with authentication or something with this specific machine and user

Any thoughts?
