Nope. I'm stumped. When all else fails, run Help | Detect and Repair.

the tab is created when the first receipt is returned and processed. In
order to process, the receipt must be sent as an RTF message - which is
assured only if you get them back from people using your Exchange server.
For pop3 or imap users, you can expect maybe 50% won't be RTF.

Assuming the tracking receipts are returned in RTF format, they should
autoprocess and display on the message in the sent folder. Once they
process, the sent item's icon changes to a little blue and white !. If they
do not autoprocess, opening the receipt should force it.

I am using outlook 2003 SP2.
I do have auto tracking turned on, and I do receive the e-mail back (most of
the time) indicating the read. I open up the read receipt and even keep it.
When I go to the sent items folder to look at the e-mail, most of the time I
do not have a tracking tab on the e-mail. (I do mean for messages that I got
a read receipt on)
If the e-mail was in office then it works and the tab shows up. But if it
is out of office, (and most are) then the tracking tab does not show up.
When I was using Outlook 2000 it worked for all e-mails that I received a
read response on.
Any advise from any one.
I have looked through the form and nothing I can find seams to help.

Rene said:OK - I checked my tracking options and the check marks are in the following
boxes:
"Process requests and responses on arrival"; "Process receipts on arrival";
"After processing, move receipts to deleted items"; and "Always send a
response". Do you see something that I need to change?
