I put this question in another group, but since I do not have an answer
yet and it is getting serious, I thought I would post it here again. I
am using Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6817) SP3 and Internet Explorer 7.
Outlook will not work at all. I get an "unknown error Ox8004060C" when
I try to send or receive e-mails in both of my accounts. I cannot
delete e-mails and when I try I get "The messaging
interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook." I have restarted Outlook many times and rebooted and
I still cannot use the program.
Each time I restart OL it tries to send the e-mails that are in its
Outbox. Although I get the above message about the unknown error and
the e-mails do not appear to go, one of the messages was to a friend in
France and she received it at least 26 times. I sent a test message to
myself and found that it was sent when I went to the ISP website. But
it is still in the Outbox of OL.
If I go to Outlook Express I find that there are messages there. But I
had put OL as my default e-mail program, so do not know why this is
happening.
Thank you for your help.
