Outlook office

When I open outlook it is very slow and deos not let me open send emails.
there is an icon at the bottom right corner when I highlight this it says
syncrinizing folders. i removed palm desk top and do not use any. this never
came up befor and i do not know how to stop it.

Hard to say what's going on without any configuration details to work with.

The sync icon indicates a send/receive process. Send/receive hangs and slow
performance usually can be tracked back to virus scanner integration issues.
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
