Here's the problem & I hope someone can help (it'll save a lot of shoe tread
if you can). We are running Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003 server with
Outlook 2003 at the desktop. We run our Outlook in cached mode and when we
reboot our server our users go to offline. Some of them come back and some
don't. Can find nothing to attribute this too. Switches report clean, DNS
is clean, NIC configurations may or may not be the same and the offline
results don't seem to vary. (i.e. 2 users with the came config may not get
the same results) If you go to a user that doesn't reconnect, and just
uncheck work offline they are fine. This is very irritating as my users
aren't terribly savvy and will just keep trying to send mail for (sometimes)
days before they call and say "I think there's something wrong with my mail".
Meanwhile their mailbox on the server is full..... Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
