Outlook on desktop, laptop & iPhone

Hi
I work Outlook satisfactorily between my desktop & iphone, except for
problems sending email from my iPhone that I wont bore you with.
My question is; I'm about to set up Outlook on my laptop. How do I ensure
that BOTH my desktop & my laptop maintain the same, current contents,
irrespective of which machine I use to read or send an email, added a contact
or change my calendar? Is there any easy tutorial anywhere? Any tips?
thanks, Mick

It would totally depend on which mail account type you are using.
A full sync is easy with an Exchange or Live Hotmail account; no additional
configuration required.

If you are using IMAP then your messages would be fully in-sync and you
could use your iPhone to sync Contacts and Calendar updates.

If you are using POP3, then you'll have to resort to copying over your
pst-file each time or by using 3rd party syncing solutions;

A syncing scenario via a USB Thumb-drive is also described here;

If your sync software allows synching with two PCs, you should be able to use
the iPhone to keep calendar and contacts the same between the two PCs.

That's great, thanks. I'll find out what I'm using and then follow your
leads. Somehow I'd hoped that Outlook would have the solution built-in; I
guess noone uses a laptop and a desktop anymore!

thanks again, Mick

Hadnt thought of that - load iTunes on the laptop and do it that way. Nice
and simple, I'll try it. Thanks.
