Outlook on new machine...transfer data?

Hi there,
I just got a new machine and didn't get to export the data from my old
machine into .pst files. I haven't been able to figure out how to transfer
the data to the new machine. I had an awful lot of very important messages
and contacts that I'm loathe to lose. Can I retrieve them?

Just copy the .pst files from the old machine. No need to export to create new ones.
