Hi Encountered the same ERROR MESSAGE as described. With the Missing .MSI
file. I got it installed on two different machines With very little problem
but I don't know WHY I tried it or why it even worked.
Getting that OneNote/Outlook Power toy on the first attempt, created a
C:\Program Files\Powertoys for OneNote\ Send to OneNote from Outlook
Directory Path.
Launching Outlook calls up the Error Messages described earlier. Forget
about it! Drag a Copy of the PowerToy into the final Directory \Send to
OneNote from Outlook Then When it's in there Double Click it. A message
popped up about repair or uninstall I chose Repair and Fired up Outlook and
there was my new OneNote Button! It was all of a 3 click process but I
would like to know WHY it would worked based on what I have been seeing what
the problem might be. I only did it that way was because after I seen the
new Directory structure create after the Initial download /Install attempt.
I thought well if It can't find it in that Temp Directory Maybe it's lookin'
in the WRONG place so I'll drump a couple in this Folder and Click it. So it
was a 2 step affair Run the First one from Microsofts Website, Then save
the Second one to the new created directory and click it and choose Repair.
I don't know..
Kinda new to this stuff.
Any replies would be great help
Thank you
