Outlook only opens in SAFE MODE

My outlook worked fine until I had to uninstall & reinstall it. I am running
XP Home and using Office 2003 Professional Edition

Any ideas how to fix?

I have downloaded SP 1, SP3 .
I had to go through the original reinstall/uninstall twice with service pack
downloads twice before I could get the xlsx & docx extensions to rework also.

docx extensions are used by Word 2007 are you saying you have installed the
Compatibility Pack or?

Why did you uninstall/reinstall Outlook, or was it the entire Office suite?

I too can only get OutLook to open in safe mode. It started with OutLook
upon attempting to open saying it need to open in safe mode. That was the
only way it would open. I worked with CS and they said to uninstall and
reinstall. Now it default opens only in safe mode. Any ideas?

While in Safe Mode, disable all add-ins and then try opening in regular
mode. Enable your add-ins one by one, closing and opening Outlook each time
until it hurls. Then you know what the problem add-in is.
