I will probably get lambasted for starting a new one of these, but please read.
I have searched just about everywhere for an answer to this problem and have
tried all the solutions provided but to no avail.
Outlook 2003 was working fine until middle of this week, now it will only
run in safe mode, starting Outlook normaly generates the error at the end of
this message.
I have re-registered the DLLs, I have scanned and repaired the pst file, I
have removed the outcmd.dat, I have created a new profile, I have also ran
the detect and repair, clearing the existing settings and re-creating a
profile, all of this to no avail.
I have created another user on the PC and Outlook runs fine on that user, so
I suspect that some setting or other on my user profile has become a little
out of sorts.
Also, only the /safe switch works, any of the other /safe switches fail, I
have uninstalled my antivirus and that didn't help I have unistalled other
software that loaded like phone sync and that didn't help, I've run out of
ideas.
If anyone can provide any insight I would be most grateful.
