On my initial attempt to open Outlook 2003, the pop-up
welcome screen will show, then freeze. I do CTRL+ALT+DEL
to close the program via task manager. When I re-open
Outlook, it advises I should open the program in safe
mode, which I do. I'm able to use the program in safe
mode, which has its limitations. There is nothing showing
in the disabled items list, however I do get a popup
advising that another program is trying to get my contact
list from Outlook. I click "no", which is what Outlook
advises. On a related note, when I attempt to open any
folders from the icon list, Outlook says it is unable to
open that folder/application. I have re-installed Office
XP twice, but the exact same situation persists. I have
also scanned my entire system with Norton Systemworks.
Any help would be most appreciated to this *grrrrrrrr*
