I recently brought my existing Outlook 2003 .pst file to my new laptop (also
2003), it has worked well all week. Starting last night, when I start
Outlook, it is full screen for 2 seconds, minimizes automatically to the
system tray (no input from me). When I try to click it on the system tray,
the icon disappears completely. In the task manager there is no Outlook.exe
running.
If I try to send a link from the browser, a mail message opens but on
clicking the To: line or the Send button, I get a message that there has been
a fatal error, envelope is lost but the message is still there.
I have Business Contact manager as well but don't use it much yet. For now,
I am reading emails on the website of my ISP.
