After a fresh boot Outlook will open fine. If I close Outlook and try to
open it again it freezes with the folder list visible on the left side and
the splash screen in the middle and the rest of it blank. No message list,
no message display, no task bar, etc.
If I Ctrl+Alt+Del and stop it, then restart it, it asks me if I want to
start in Safe Mode. This does the same thing. If I stop that and restart
again it asks if I want to do the detect and repair thing. If I run this,
Outlook will start once again, but again, it will only start once.
If I shut down the computer while it is frozen it tells me that the
ThorConnWndClass (or something like that) cannot be ended, so maybe this is
the source of the issue.
Specs:
Windows XP Pro SP2 32-bit
Plaxo Plug-in (latest version)
Motorola Phone Tools Plug-in (latest version)
Personal folders, IMAP folders and Hotmail accounts used
Any ideas?
