Sometimes I like to put an appointment in my calendar and then invite someone
just as an FYI so that the other person knows about the meeting but is not
expected or required to attend. I wish that Outlook would give me the option
to set that person's calendar time as "Free" instead of "Busy" whenever
he/she accepts the meeting notice.
The meeting should still show "Busy" in my calendar schedule.
Currently there is a Required/Optional field when inviting attendees. Maybe
there should be a third called "FYI" so that these people's calendars will
show the meeting time as "Free" when they accept the meeting.
